How We Curate Contractors
The SolarPlanner.id contractor directory is not an open listing. Every contractor passes manual curation before appearing — this document explains the criteria, stages, and limits of that curation.
- →
What we verify: Business identity (PT/CV + NPWP tax ID), technical certifications (SLO/SBU/AESI/METI/ISO), a minimum of 1 portfolio project, and a consistent business profile.
- →
What we guarantee: Document completeness + certification validity at the time of approval. Not the quality of work on any particular project.
- →
What we do not guarantee: Installation quality, contract disputes between user and contractor, or post-approval matters. Users must still conduct their own due diligence.
Why Curation Exists
The SolarPlanner.id directory is not an open listing — not every contractor who registers automatically appears. We perform manual curation to minimize the risk of users connecting with contractors whose certifications are invalid, whose portfolios are fictitious, or whose businesses are not operational.
What we guarantee: the completeness of business identity documents and certification validity at the time of approval. Not the quality of work on any particular project — that depends on many factors beyond our control.

Curation Stages
- 01
Self-registration
The contractor registers at /daftar-kontraktor, completing their business profile, certifications, service area, and at least 1 portfolio project.
- 02
Email verification
The contact email is verified via a magic link to confirm authority.
- 03
Document review
The SolarPlanner team reviews document completeness and the validity of claimed certifications — cross-checking against the issuer's official website where possible.
- 04
Public cross-check
We check the contractor's website (if any), social media, and the existence of claimed projects for consistency.
- 05
Clarification (optional)
If anything needs confirmation, our team gets in touch via the contact email. The contractor responds within 7 business days.
- 06
Decision
APPROVED (appears in the directory) or REJECTED (notified via email with a brief reason). Rejected contractors may re-apply after improving their documents.
Typical duration: 5–15 business days from email verification. For documents requiring clarification, the timeline may be longer.
SolarPlanner's Rights
SolarPlanner.id reserves the right — at its sole discretion — to:
Reject a registration
Without any obligation to provide a detailed reason, if the documents do not meet the minimum criteria.
Request additional documents
For any clarification deemed necessary before a decision.
Suspend an APPROVED profile
If there is a verified user report (fraud, work quality far below claims, non-attendance after a lead is received), if a previously valid certification expires or is revoked, upon violation of the terms & conditions, or for activity that damages the platform's reputation.
Terminate a profile
For serious violations: fraud, falsified certifications, or a legally enforceable dispute.
What We Are Not Responsible For
SolarPlanner.id is a connecting platform, not a party to the transaction between user and contractor. We:
- Do not guaranteeThe quality of a contractor's work on any particular project
- Are not responsibleFor contract disputes, payments, or installation outcomes between user and contractor
- Do not verifyEvery new project a contractor undertakes after approval — user reviews and ratings serve as post-approval indicators
- Do not endorseAny particular contractor over another — display order is based on user filters, location, and public ratings, not paid placement
Before contracting, users must conduct their own due diligence: site survey, specification clarification, contract review, and requesting references for similar projects.
Reporting a Problem Contractor
Had a bad experience with a SolarPlanner contractor? Email us at admin@solarplanner.id with a brief chronology and supporting evidence (contract, photos, correspondence). We investigate with the relevant contractor, which may result in suspension or termination if the violation is proven.
Better 50 strictly curated contractors than 500 contractors of mixed quality — we prioritize the integrity of the directory over its size.
Curation Business Model
Curation and listing in the SolarPlanner.id directory are free for contractors — there is no registration fee, annual fee, or per-lead fee. We do not accept paid placement that influences display order.
The long-term monetization model will be transparent and designed so it does not alter curation independence. Any change to the model will be announced in advance to registered contractors.
Language & Governing Version
This Curation Policy is originally drafted in Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia), which is the official and binding version. In the event of any discrepancy or difference in interpretation between the Indonesian and English versions, the Indonesian version shall prevail, consistent with Article 31 of Law No. 24 of 2009 on the National Flag, Language, Emblem, and Anthem.
