Full disclosure on one page: who is behind the platform, where the data comes from, how the business model works, and the conflict of interest policy. A companion to the quarterly transparency report (which contains dynamic metrics).
01 · Operator Identity
Current operator (interim, pre-PT live): Fathoni Ega Mulyana — founder and sole operator of SolarPlanner.id. The solarplanner.id domain, VPS hosting, vendor contracts, and day-to-day operations are all under the individual's name until the legal entity is formally established.
Legal entity post-PT (target Q3 2026): PT Solar Planner Indonesia — the 3-word name AHU-verified 2026-05-05. KBLI 63122 (web portal) + 43400 (electrical installation / intermediary platform). Ownership structure 99:1 founder-spouse, virtual office in non-CBD Jakarta.
The founder is NOT the face of the brand: Platform communication stays institutional. The founder does not appear as an influencer persona / spokesperson — the platform voice is independent of individual reputation, per a brand constraint held since day one.
02 · Business Model
Per the monetization spec LOCKED 2026-05-17. All figures below are final for launch — not placeholders, not “TBD”.
IDR 0 / 149k / 499k / 1.5M / Custom per month
A contractor subscription fee for eligibility to appear in the directory. Free tier for small local contractors, Custom tier for enterprise EPCs with data-feed integration.

IDR 250k-500k per qualified match
A commission per qualified lead we refer to a contractor (B2B-side, users do NOT pay). Hybrid model: human curation + match algorithm + contractor accept/decline.

5-10% commission, floor IDR 1.5M
A referral fee for BOO (Build-Own-Operate) contractors in the industrial segment that the user chooses off-platform. Floor of IDR 1.5M minimum per signed contract.

Custom (per dataset + scope)
Licensing of aggregate datasets (NASA POWER + BMKG-correlated irradiance, PLN tariff time series, contractor-directory market sentiment) for industry / academia / public policy.

The first 50 contractors to join at launch get an early-bird listing-fee discount + a 6-month featured-placement window + a direct feedback channel into the product roadmap. Currently in waitlist mode, pre-PT-live — formal acceptance begins post-AHU-verification + NIB issuance (around Q3 2026). Waitlist rationale: UU PT 40/2007 anti-nominee provisions (receiving funds before the legal entity exists = complexity), and UU PDP Art. 30 compliance discipline (collect formal contractor data only with a definite controller entity).

We claim no internal proprietary data. Every calculator + article figure can be traced to the public sources below.
SolarPlanner's own calculator output + aggregate datasets are licensed CC-BY-4.0 — researchers / contractors / journalists are free to reuse them with attribution.
04 · Conflict of Interest Policy
SolarPlanner is an intermediary platform (KBLI 43400 under the post-KBLI 2025 mapping). We are NOT a panel installation contractor, NOT a solar hardware distributor, NOT a financial / solar-leasing institution. There is no seller-side conflict of interest because we do not sell the product.
The Founding Contractor program does NOT guarantee placement favor: The 50 early-bird slots get a limited 6-month featured window, but afterwards standard curation applies to all contractors — merit-based: portfolio + SLO + user reviews + dispute rate. No pay-to-rank.
Sponsored content, if any, will be explicitly labeled: A clear visual “Sponsored” label on articles + it must not contradict facts/data in the neutral calculator or glossary. Sponsored content will NOT be mixed into organic editorial without disclosure.
COI reporting channel: coi@solarplanner.id — anonymized reporting accepted. Investigation outcomes are published quarterly in the transparency report.
